Renaissance Advertisement Project
For this project you will be researching inventions and technologies of the Renaissance time period (As we have discussed, some of these may be things from previous cultures that have been improved upon). You will then pretend you are advertising and selling that "product" to people in Renaissance Europe.
The inventions or technologies that you research could be important for scientific reasons, useful to everyday life or even medical!
The Process/Task
After some research you will:
1. Choose 3 inventions/technologies that you are most interested in (from the Renaissance period in Europe).
-You CANNOT do the telescope or glasses.
-Books that discuss new scientific or medical theories or procedures may also be use
2. Research them further (who invented it, what was it used for, did it come from another civilization, how was it important and how did it impact the world on a larger scale)
3. Write a summary of each invention/technology AND create an advertisement for the 3 inventions or technologies you pick. Follow the rubric to receive the most points possible!
